EPOS provides institutional, programmatic, and financial support to the ministries of health and health authorities in numerous countries. Since 1985 our expert teams have been designing and implementing initiatives and strategies that improve equitable access, coverage and quality of healthcare.
We address key constraints related to service delivery, health workforce, strategic information, commodities, supply chain, tracking system, and financing. Importance is given to accountability and outcomes within the system, accompanying indicators and measurements. Reports are developed to monitor progress and impact.
Our unique approach ensures that all the important health system strengthening blocks, including service delivery, workforce, information systems, medicine accessibility, financing and leadership/governance, are considered.to develop and implement sustainable systems.
Our work supports capacity building at central, state, and district level to implement policy reforms. We have successfully supported health sector development plans in Angola, Indonesia and Moldova. We have assisted ministries in setting-up national guidelines, designing service provision protocols, and in boosting management systems at decentralized levels in Cambodia and Congo.
